I?ve loved all my pets: cats, dogs, bunnies, and even goldfish. My brother had two goldfish he named Shamu and Flipper.
I had one cat that made my heart sing like no other. And he wasn?t more playful or cuter or adorable than my other pets....except for the goldfish. It?s a mystery only people that have felt a special bond with a pet understand. That?s why Irving Townsend?s quote resonates with me.
